Our values
There’s nothing quite like singing when it comes to nurturing old or discovering new friendships. As we come out of a worldwide pandemic and push into an uncertain future for the planet, it’s important to us to hold on to our values and create new events that are – above all – exquisite, sustainable and meaningful.
Nurture
We (Alex and Témi) are on every single Singing Holiday. Of course, we’re there to make sure things run like clockwork, but more than that, we’re there to help you find your voice (literally and metaphorically). From the moment you touch down, we’ll be there to welcome you and make you feel at ease. Naturally, we look after the group as a whole, but in doing so, we never forget that a group is a collection of individuals.
Friends
At its heart, Singing Holidays is about friendship. If Singing Holidays was a cake, the ingredients would be singing, great teaching, wonderful food, a splash of wine and a small group. Place all that in an oven for 5, 6 or 7 nights (depending on the cake) and out pops friendship.
The little things
We love the little touches that bring a smile to a face or prolong a memory. They’re just little moments, but in many ways, they’re the reason we do what we do. Someone once said, ‘Enjoy the little things, for one day you’ll look back and realize they were the big things’. So true.
Small groups
Now, this is what makes it all tick. Small groups are everything. Yes, it means that Singing Holidays aren’t the cheapest. Yes, it means we can’t scale our business and make oodles of money. Quite frankly, though, life’s too short for any of that stuff.
As far as we’re concerned, it’s all about the experience and the friendships you discover on the way. A small group opens doors on little gems that would otherwise be inaccessible.
