Témi has performed in numerous productions of note, including Garsington Opera’s production of Albert Herring (with subsequent CD recording conducted by Stuart Bedford) and Jonathan Miller’s production of Bach’s St. Matthew Passion.
Témi is also a British Wheel yoga teacher and fluent Italian speaker. She is very experienced at organising events for large and intimate groups. Her love and care on every singing holiday are without equal (I’m a bit biased, admittedly).
Alex studied singing with Ellis Keeler & Benjamin Luxon, first as an undergraduate (where he was a Gold Medal Finalist) and then as a postgraduate on the GSMD Opera Course.
As well as being professional singers, Témi and Alex founded a UK Arts Council-funded opera company, Opera 21, which toured the UK and Spain. They also formed a natural products business supplying retailers such as Whole Foods Market, Planet Organic and Sainsbury’s. I know, mad!
Their unique background and experience are the essence of Singing Holidays. Their passions for people, good food, nature and the environment combine with an intense drive to create holidays that develop their clients’ vocal and musical potential within a nurturing and inspirational setting.
Témi and Alex live in Umbria, Italy, with their Newfoundland, Betsy.
