Having performed and toured with many highly acclaimed artists, including Pee Wee Ellis & Fred Wesley (JB Horns), Carleen Anderson, Marcella Detroit, Martha High, Mica Paris, Kim Mazelle and Jocelyn Brown, as well as Boy George, Belinda Carlisle, Howard Jones and Just Jack, Lizzie Deane has a wealth of stage, TV, radio and session experience.

She has now stepped out of the shadows with her fabulous band to rave performances and album reviews. Whilst retaining a strong individual style of her own, Lizzie has drawn comparisons to Aretha Franklin, Dusty Springfield, Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, Lisa Stansfield and Joss Stone.

Growing up in the Midlands, Lizzie gained a BA (Hons) Music Degree and Advanced Acting Diploma at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. Following classical training in her school and college years, her musical journey began with choirs and musical theatre before a spell with various function bands proved to be the catalyst in changing her music career path. Her voice evolved from a classical soprano into the powerful, soulful instrument she now possesses, enabling her to work with many respected artists who have inspired her.
